Jayme Waite

Research Technician
Biography

Jayme is a native Iowan and grew up in the Iowa City area. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.S.E in biomedical engineering. She joined the Sowers lab in 2021 as a lab technician, and is currently focused on using functional MRI to look at the role of migraine-inducers and the central nervous system's neurophysiology. She is also in collaboration with Andrew Russo's lab to dive deeper into the role of migraine treatments in gastrointestinal function.
